Updating anti-virus databases

Kaspersky Internet Security uses anti-virus databases when searching for malware. The app's anti-virus databases contain descriptions of malware currently known to Kaspersky, information on how to neutralize it, and descriptions of other malicious objects. We recommend that you regularly update the databases.

To update the app's anti-virus databases, your device must be connected to the Internet.

You can start an update of anti-virus databases on the device or remotely on My Kaspersky.

To start an update of anti-virus databases on the device,

On the Kaspersky Internet Security quick launch panel, tap Update.

In the premium version of Kaspersky Internet Security, you can set a schedule for anti-virus database autoupdates.
