If your device goes missing, you can send Anti-Theft commands remotely via My Kaspersky.
If you have two-factor authentication set on your device for accessing My Kaspersky using the SMS code, you will not be able to sign in to your account and use the Anti-Theft feature in case your SIM card is lost. To avoid this, set authentication on more than one device.
To send commands to the missing device:
The command execution status is displayed in the command window.
Typical use case
If you've lost your device somewhere nearby, you can turn on the alarm. The loud sound will help you find the device. To do this, follow the instructions in this section to send the Alarm command from My Kaspersky.
You can add a message that will be displayed on the screen of your device when the alarm goes off. For example, you can add an alternate phone number so that someone who finds your device can call you.
When you confirm enabling the alarm on My Kaspersky, your device is locked, the alarm goes off and your message is displayed on the screen. When you find your device, unlock it using your secret code, unlock pattern or fingerprint.Page top
