What if the secret code is forgotten

If you have forgotten the secret code you can recover it on the My Kaspersky portal.

To safely recover the secret code to the app:

1. Open the portal on any device.
2. Sign in to the portal with My Kaspersky account that you used during initial configuration of the app.
3. Go to the Devices section.
4. On the panel of the mobile device that you want to manage remotely, click the Lock, locate, or manage device button.
5. The window for managing the mobile device for which you need to recover the secret code opens.
6. On the Recovery code tab click the Get code button.

   The recovery code is displayed in the portal.

7. Launch Kaspersky Internet Security on the device.
8. On the quick launch panel in the main window of Kaspersky Internet Security, tap Settings > Anti-Theft. 
9. When prompted to enter the secret code, tap Menu > Recover secret code.
10. Enter the recovery code specified on the portal.

    Your secret code is displayed on the device screen.

11. Enter the secret code in the Enter the restored secret code here field.

The app will open the Anti-Theft Settings window.
