Activating the premium version of the app

To use all functions of the app, you have to activate the premium version of Kaspersky Internet Security. Activation is the process of switching the app to the premium version. To activate premium version, you need to buy license at the online store.

If you already have a license you can activate premium version of the app one of the following ways:

• Enter the activation code you received when purchasing a license.
• Use license data detected for your account on the My Kaspersky portal.

You can activate the premium version of the app at first startup or at any time afterward.

You must have a working Internet connection to activate the premium version.

To activate the premium version of the app using a license detected for your account on My Kaspersky portal:

1. In the main window of Kaspersky Internet Security, tap > License & Account > Activate premium version.

   If a license that can be used to activate the app has been detected on My Kaspersky portal for your account, Kaspersky Internet Security prompts you to use it for activation.

   If the app does not detect a license for your account that can be used to activate the app, Kaspersky Internet Security offers other activation methods.

2. Select the needed license.

The app sends an activation request to Kaspersky Lab's activation server. On receiving successful confirmation of the request, the app will notify you and display the license information.

To activate the premium version of the app using an activation code:

1. In the main window of Kaspersky Internet Security, tap > License & Account > Activate premium version.
2. Select I have an activation code.
3. Enter the activation code.

   If you have received an SMS containing the activation code, tap Find the SMS with the activation code instead. The activation code will be added automatically.

   If the SMS with the activation code has not been found, you can specify it manually.

4. Tap Next.

The app sends an activation request to Kaspersky Lab's activation server. On receiving successful confirmation of the request, the app will notify you and display the license information.
