Renewing the license

Every time the app starts, Kaspersky Internet Security checks if a license for the premium version of Kaspersky Internet Security is available.

When the license expires, the app automatically switches to the free version.

If you are using the premium version of the app, you can view the number of days remaining before your license expires by viewing your license information.

When your license has less than 14 days left before it expires, you can renew it. To renew the license, you can do the following:

To renew the license with the activation code:

  1. In the main window of Kaspersky Internet Security, tap Settings > License & Account > Activate premium version

The app may prompt you to use a license specified for your account on My Kaspersky portal. If so, decline to activate the app using the detected license by tapping More ways to activate.

If the app does not detect a license for your account that can be used to activate the app, go to the next step.

  2. Select I have an activation code.
  3. Enter the activation code that you received earlier on purchasing a new license.

If you have received an SMS containing the activation code, tap Find the SMS with the activation code instead. The activation code will be added automatically.

If the SMS with the activation code has not been found, you can specify it manually.

Activation code will be applied. The license will be renewed.
