App icon in the notification area

After the First Run Wizard finishes, the Kaspersky Internet Security icon appears in the notification area.

Indication that the app is running

The icon indicates that the app is running. In the premium version, it also shows your device's protection status:

– Protection is enabled.
– There are protection problems. For example, the anti-virus databases are outdated, or a newly installed app has not been scanned.
The appearance of the icons may vary depending on the version of the Android operating system.

In the free version of the app, the icon does not show the device protection status.

Access to the app's main window

You can open the app's main window using the app icon in the notification area.
