Configuring a scheduled scan

To configure a scheduled scan:

1. On the Kaspersky Internet Security quick launch panel, tap Real-Time Protection > Scan.
2. Select a value for Files to scan.
3. Select the action to be performed by the app when an object is detected during scanning:
   1. Select the Disinfect checkbox if you want the app to automatically attempt to disinfect the infected file.
   2. To select the action to be taken by the app if the file cannot be disinfected, select a value for the If disinfection fails setting.
4. Configure the scan frequency by selecting either Weekly, Daily, or After update for the On schedule setting.
5. Set the day and time for the scan to start by selecting values for the Start day and Start time settings.

Scanning with specified parameters will be started according to the schedule.
