How to run Full Scan
During a Full Scan, the Kaspersky application scans all the hard drives of a computer to check for malware and other threats. You can use Full Scan to scan all files, folders, and sectors of your device for malware.
Full Scan can be started remotely on devices protected by Kaspersky Total Security, Kaspersky Internet Security for Mac, Kaspersky Anti-Virus, Kaspersky Internet Security, and Kaspersky Security Cloud.
You can run Full Scan on one managed device or on all managed devices at the same time.
To run Full Scan on a managed device:
- Go to the Devices tab.
- Click on the device you want to scan.
- Click the Full scan button.
- Confirm start.
While the scan is running, a progress indicator (percentage completed and time remaining) and the stop button are displayed. When scanning is completed, a scan report is available under the link showing last scan date.
How to scan all your devices at the same time
If you have 20 or more devices connected to your account, you can use the Group tasks feature to run the scan on all or several selected devices at the same time.
To run Full Scan on all or several devices at the same time:
- Go to the Devices section.
- Select the devices of interest.
- In the upper part of the window, in the Group tasks section, click Full scan.
The scan progress icon is displayed in the panels of the devices being scanned.
