How to turn protection components on or off

You can use the My Kaspersky website to remotely turn application protection components on a managed device on or off.

Turning some protection components off may reduce the security of the device. If disabling a protection component poses a potential danger, you need to enter the password for the account to confirm the action.

Application protection components can be enabled or disabled remotely on devices protected by Kaspersky Total Security, Kaspersky Internet Security for Mac, Kaspersky Anti-Virus, Kaspersky Internet Security, and Kaspersky Security Cloud.

To turn a protection component on or off:

1. Go to the Devices tab.
2. Click on the device of interest.
3. Select the Components tab.
4. To turn a component on or off, use the toggle switch in the section with the protection component.
5. Confirm the action by entering the account password, if necessary.
