How to update Kaspersky Safe Kids
Updating the application fixes bugs, adds new features, and improves the performance of existing features. To complete the update, the application may require that you accept the new terms and conditions for using the service.
Your acceptance of the new terms of the End User License Agreement and the Privacy Policy is mandatory to complete the update. Your acceptance of the additional statements, for example the Statement Regarding Data Processing for Marketing Purposes, is optional. You can withdraw your consent at any time in your account settings (please refer to the Compliance with European Union law).

How to update the app for Android
You need to update the Kaspersky Safe Kids app regularly to enjoy the features of the most stable version of the app. You can turn on automatic app update in app stores or download updates manually.
Kaspersky Safe Kids needs to be updated on mobile devices of both the parent and the child.
By default, automatic app updates on Android are turned on. If you disable automatic updates, go to your provider's app store to check for an update and download it.

You can update Kaspersky Safe Kids via the App Store. Kaspersky Safe Kids needs to be updated on mobile devices of both the parent and the child.
The Kaspersky Safe Kids versions on all devices must be current. If the current version is not installed on a mobile device, Kaspersky Safe Kids may not work correctly.
To update the app via the App Store, the device must have a working Internet connection.
Kaspersky Safe Kids may not be available for download from the App Store in Poland and Ukraine.
You can update Kaspersky Safe Kids manually or set up automatic updates.

To update Kaspersky Safe Kids manually:
- Start the App Store app on the mobile device.
- Tap Updates.
A list of apps installed on the mobile device opens. Apps for which new versions are available are marked with the Update tag.
- Tap Update near Kaspersky Safe Kids.
In some cases, you may need to restart the mobile device before updating the app.
How to update the application for Windows
Non-critical updates of the current version of the application (such as application bug fixes) are installed automatically.
When a new version of the application is released, a message will be sent to the email address that you specified for signing in to My Kaspersky.
To update Kaspersky Safe Kids for Windows:
Download the application installation package by clicking the link in the message about the availability of a new application version or on the Kaspersky Safe Kids product page.
- Open the application installation package.
- Follow the instructions of the installation wizard.
How to update the application for macOS
Non-critical updates of the current version of the application (such as application bug fixes) are installed automatically.
When a new version of the application is released, a message will be sent to the email address that you specified for signing in to My Kaspersky.
To update Kaspersky Safe Kids for macOS:
- Download the application installation package by clicking the link in the message about the availability of a new application version or on the Kaspersky Safe Kids product page.
- Open the application installation package.
- Follow the instructions of the installation wizard.
If you update the premium version of Kaspersky Safe Kids, you continue to use the premium version of the application after the update. After being updated, Kaspersky Safe Kids may reset its count of the time your child spends using applications. If you have set application usage time limits, your child may use applications longer than these time limits on the day of an update.
