If you want to use fingerprint authentication to unlock the vault, select the Use fingerprint to unlock the vault check box.
The fingerprint authentication feature is disabled in Kaspersky Password Manager on certain devices. Kaspersky Lab specialists consider that fingerprint access to the app might be unsafe on those devices.
Also you can enable using fingerprint authentication in Kaspersky Password Manager later in the app settings.
Kaspersky Password Manager is ready to use on your mobile device.
Kaspersky Password Manager uses the master password to protect your data. When you start Kaspersky Password Manager for the first time, you must create a master password. Don't use a password that can be easily guessed (for example, based on last names, first names, or dates of birth). To create a strong password, use uppercase and lowercase letters, digits, and special characters.
You can't access your vault without the master password. If you lose the master password, you will also lose access to all your data in the vault.
When Kaspersky Password Manager starts, it prompts you to:
Create a master password for the vault, if it is the first time you have used Kaspersky Password Manager.
Enter the existing master password, if you have previously created a master password and used Kaspersky Password Manager.
In the Create Master Password for New Vault window, enter a new master password.
Confirm the new master password by entering it a second time and tap Create New Vault.
If your device is running Android 6.0 or later and supports fingerprint authentication, you can enable it when creating a master password and then use to unlock the vault.
