Add an image

  1. Unlock the vault by entering the master password and tapping Unlock.

If your device is running Android 6.0 or later, supports fingerprint authentication, and fingerprint authentication is enabled in the app settings, you can use it to unlock your vault instead of entering the master password.

  2. In the main app window, tap or swipe the screen to the right.

The quick access bar appears on the left.

  3. On the quick access bar, tap Documents > .

    The gallery window opens.

If an alert appears, allow Kaspersky Password Manager to access the requested content on your device.

  4. Do one of the following:
    • If you want to add one image, select it from the gallery, tap Save, or tap to take a new picture.

Using third-party camera software to add images to Kaspersky Password Manager might be unsafe. Pictures taken using such camera software appear in the device's gallery and might be accessed by intruders. Use third-party camera software at your own risk.

The image window opens. You can enter a name for the entry, add a comment, and tap to rotate your image. Tap Save to save changes.

    • If you want to add several images, select them from the gallery.

Kaspersky Password Manager starts adding the selected images into the vault.

  5. If you add images from the gallery, Kaspersky Password Manager prompts you to delete the original image from your device for security reasons. Do one of the following:
    • Tap Delete to delete the original image from your device and keep only its copy in the vault.
    • Tap Don't delete to leave the original image as is.

The entries appear in the Documents window. If you want to view the image details, expand the entry and tap Open.
