Importing data from password managers

Kaspersky Password Manager lets you import data from other password management applications.

If you have used other applications to store login credentials and other personal information, you can transfer this data to Kaspersky Password Manager. Kaspersky Password Manager can import files that were exported from the following applications: KeePass, LastPass, 1Password, Norton Identity Safe, and Dashlane.

In order to import data into Kaspersky Password Manager, the data must be exported to a CSV file from the other application.

Kaspersky Password Manager cannot ensure the integrity and completeness of data imported from other password management applications.

To import data from password managers:

  1. Open the main application window.
  2. In the lower part of the window, click the button.
  3. In the application tray menu, select the Settings item.

    The application settings window opens.

  4. In the left part of the window, select the Data Import/Export section.
  5. In the Import from password managers section, click the Import button.
  6. In the window that opens, specify the file you want to import your data from.

The entries will be copied from the selected file into Kaspersky Password Manager. Once the import is complete, the application will display a window containing a report on the number of imported entries.

  8. Click the Continue button to exit the report window.
