The security of your data depends on the strength of passwords used on websites and in applications.
The safety of your data can be compromised in the following cases:
You use the same passwords for multiple accounts.
You use weak passwords.
You use information that is easy to guess as a password (such as family members' names or dates of birth).
Use unique and strong passwords for all accounts to keep your data secure.
To check passwords in the vault:
Open the main application window.
In the lower part of the window, click the button.
Select Show password problems.
The password check starts. The Password problems section appears in the main window. The section displays a list of entries whose passwords have been found to contain vulnerabilities.
To fix password problems:
Open the main application window.
Go to the Password problems section.
Select the website or application whose password has been found to contain a problem.
Click the icon to the right of the password.
A prompt with a description of the password problem appears.
To see accounts that use the same password, click on Show all duplicates.
Follow the instructions in the prompt and change the password to a strong password.
