Configuring a proxy server connection

If a proxy server is used to connect to the Internet, specify the settings for Kaspersky Password Manager to connect to the proxy server.

To edit the proxy server connection settings:

  2. In the lower part of the window, click the button.
  3. In the application tray menu, select the Settings item.

    The application settings window opens.

  4. In the left part of the window, select the Advanced section.
  5. In the right part of the window, in the Proxy server section, click the Settings button.

The Proxy server window will open.

  6. In the window that opens, perform one of the following operations:
    • If you do not wish to use a proxy server to connect to the Internet, select Do not use proxy server.
    • If you want the application to automatically configure proxy server connection settings, select Detect proxy server settings automatically.
    • To specify the proxy server connection settings manually, select the Use specified proxy server settings option.
      1. Specify the address and port used to connect to the proxy server.
      2. If connecting to the proxy server requires specifying a user name and password, select the Use proxy server authentication check box.
      3. Specify the user name and password for connecting to the proxy server.
  7. Click OK.

The changes made to the proxy server connection settings are now saved.
