Data synchronization lets you use and maintain an up-to-date version of the vault on all your devices, and lets you restore data if your device is replaced or lost. For example, you can add logins and passwords of web accounts to the vault from your laptop and then automatically sign into these web accounts from your tablet or smartphone on which Kaspersky Password Manager is installed.
To synchronize data on all your devices, you must install Kaspersky Password Manager on each device and, when Kaspersky Password Manager starts for the first time, specify the same My Kaspersky account. This allows synchronizing data both manually and automatically. Internet access is required for data synchronization.
Kaspersky Password Manager automatically synchronizes data in the following cases:
The status of data synchronization is displayed in the lower left corner of the main application window. Automatic synchronization is enabled by default.
To turn off automatic synchronization of data on all devices:
The application settings window opens.
Automatic synchronization of data is now disabled.
To enable data synchronization:
Automatic synchronization of data is now enabled. The application selects the Synchronize passwords and data across all your devices with Kaspersky Password Manager installed check box in the application settings.
If automatic synchronization is enabled but the data on your devices is out of sync, you can manually run synchronization.
To manually synchronize data:
The application synchronizes data across all devices.
