Check for updates
Kaspersky Password Manager automatically checks for updates. If necessary, you can manually check whether updates are available and install them.
- Open the main application window.
- In the left menu panel, click
.
The application menu opens.
- Select Check for updates.
Kaspersky Password Manager starts checking for updates. The check may take several minutes. If updates are available, the New version of Kaspersky Password Manager is available window opens.
- Click the What's new in version <version number> link to open the What's new window.
In the What's new window, you can view the list of improvements available in the new version of the application.
- Do one of the following:
- If you want to download and install the new version of the application, click Download and Install.
By clicking Download and Install, you accept the terms of the End User License Agreement between you and Kaspersky Lab. You can read the End User License Agreement by clicking the End User License Agreement link.
The download and installation may take several minutes. When the installation is completed, the application prompts you to enter the master password to access your vault.
- To postpone download and installation of the new version of the application, click Remind me later.
The window will close. Kaspersky Password Manager will prompt you to download and install the new version of the application in 24 hours.
- If you do not want to download and install the new version of the application, click
→ Do not remind about this update.
The window will close. You will continue using the old version of the application.
- If you want to download and install the new version of the application, click Download and Install.
