Connect to My Kaspersky

Connecting to My Kaspersky enables you to sync data across your devices. All devices connected to My Kaspersky with the same My Kaspersky account have access to the same cloud storage. Data synchronization between devices is not available if you are not connected to My Kaspersky.
The using of My Kaspersky is governed by the terms and conditions of the Statement Regarding Data Processing for Purpose of Using Web-Portal (Web-Portal Statement). When you connect to My Kaspersky, you confirm that you accept this statement.
Auto-connecting to My Kaspersky
Kaspersky Password Manager can automatically connect you to My Kaspersky, if you have already connected to My Kaspersky on your computer via one of the following applications:
- Kaspersky Anti-Virus
- Kaspersky Internet Security
- Kaspersky Security Cloud
- Kaspersky Total Security
- Kaspersky Free
- Kaspersky Secure Connection
Sign in with automatically filled credentials
In the Choose an account to sign in to window do one of the following:
- If you want to sign in with the suggested account, select Sign in as <account_email>.
The Sign in to My Kaspersky window opens and credentials of this account will be automatically entered. You can sign in to My Kaspersky.
- If the suggested account isn't yours or you don't want to use it, click Use another account.
The Sign in to My Kaspersky window opens and the form will be clear. You can enter the credentials for another account.
By signing in to My Kaspersky, you confirm that you have fully read, understand, and accept the terms of the Statement Regarding Data Processing for Purpose of Using Web-Portal (Web-Portal Statement).
Manually connecting to My Kaspersky
If you haven't signed in to My Kaspersky via any Kaspersky application, you can connect to My Kaspersky manually.
Connect to My Kaspersky using your existing account
- In the Sign in to My Kaspersky window, enter the credentials of your My Kaspersky account.
If you are connected to My Kaspersky via Kaspersky Safe Kids, your email linked to the My Kaspersky account will be automatically filled.
- Click Sign In.
By clicking Sign In, you confirm that you have fully read, understand, and accept the terms of the Statement Regarding Data Processing for Purpose of Using Web-Portal (Web-Portal Statement).
If you make too many attempts to connect to My Kaspersky, the application tries to determine whether you are human by displaying the Security window.
- Type symbols from the picture to the field and click Continue.
If you set up two-step verification on My Kaspersky website, the application sends the code to your phone number.
- Enter the code from SMS to the field and click Confirm.
The code is valid for five minutes. You can request another code in 30 seconds.
The application connects to My Kaspersky and signs you in.
Create a My Kaspersky account from the application interface
- In the Sign in to My Kaspersky window, click the Create account button.
The registration form opens.
- In the email address field, enter the email address that you want to associate with your new My Kaspersky account.
- In the password field, enter the password for your new My Kaspersky account.
The password must contain a minimum of eight characters, including at least one digit, one lowercase letter, and one uppercase letter. Spaces are not allowed.
- In the password confirmation field, enter the password again.
- If you agree to provide Kaspersky with your email address for receiving informational and promotional email messages, select the Receive news and special offers from Kaspersky by email checkbox.
- Click the Create account button to proceed.
By clicking Create account, you confirm that you have fully read, understand, and accept the terms of the Statement Regarding Data Processing for Purpose of Using Web-Portal (Web-Portal Statement).
The application creates your account and connects to My Kaspersky. You can create the main password.
If you haven't received an SMS message with a security code
- Check whether your mobile network is available.
- Wait until the Request code again link becomes available in the application.
- Click Request code again.
If the problem still persists, contact Technical Support.
Get started without connecting to My Kaspersky
If you are new to Kaspersky Password Manager you can skip connecting to My Kaspersky and start using the application without it. The application will prompt you to connect to My Kaspersky from time to time.
Create a My Kaspersky account later
- Open the main application window.
- In the menu panel, click Additional.
The application menu opens.
- Select Sync.
The Sign in to turn on sync window opens.
- In the Sign in to turn on sync window, click Turn on sync.
The Sign in to My Kaspersky window opens.
- Click the Create account button.
The registration form opens.
- In the email address field, enter the email address that you want to associate with your new My Kaspersky account.
- In the password field, enter the password for your new My Kaspersky account.

- In the password confirmation field, enter the password again.

Kaspersky Password Manager connects to the My Kaspersky and creates your account. After your account is created, you can unlock your vault.
How to avoid access of different users to the same vault?
Users of separate Windows accounts on one computer should connect Kaspersky Password Manager to different My Kaspersky accounts. If these users connect to the same My Kaspersky account, they use the same local vault and cloud storage. That means they share all their passwords and other sensitive data.
