About the vault and online vault
About the vault and online vault
A Kaspersky Password Manager vault is an encrypted file containing all of your accounts, notes, and other personal data.
By default, the vault is located at the following path in Microsoft operating systems: %LocalAppData%\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Password Manager.
To open the %LocalAppData% folder,
enter these values in the search field in the Start menu.
Kaspersky Password Manager synchronizes data between the vault and the online vault:
The online vault consists of Kaspersky Lab servers used for synchronizing data across devices with Kaspersky Password Manager installed.
Thanks to the online vault, you can access Kaspersky Password Manager data from any device as well as restore data if a device is replaced or lost.
