Linking accounts
You can link accounts in Kaspersky Password Manager in the following cases:
- If you use one and the same account to log in to one or more websites and an application (for example, you check email via a website and via a dedicated application, or use a social network password to log in to an application).
- If you use the same application on different devices, and data synchronization results in a different account for the application on each device.
With account linking, changes made to one web or application account are reflected in the web or application accounts that are linked with it.
To link a web account with another account:
- Open the main application window and select the Websites section.
- In the right part of the window, choose a website whose account you want to link to another account and click the Edit button.
- In the right part of the window, click the
button next to the account login. - In the context menu, select Link accounts.
The Linked accounts window opens.
- Click the Link accounts button.
The Selecting account to link window opens.
- Select an account to link and click the Link button.
The Linked accounts window opens.
- Click the Close button.
The accounts are now linked. Changes made to one account are automatically reflected in accounts linked with it.
To link an application account with another account:
- Open the main application window. Select the Applications section.
- In the right part of the window, choose an application whose account you want to link to another account and click the Edit button.
- In the right part of the window, click the button next to the account login.
- In the context menu, select Link accounts.
The Linked accounts window opens.
- Click the Link accounts button.
The Selecting account to link window opens.
- Select an account to link and click the Link button.
The Linked accounts window opens.
- Click the Close button.
The accounts are now linked. Changes made to one account are automatically reflected in accounts linked with it.
