Selecting browsers
When it starts for the first time, the application prompts you to choose the browsers with which you want to use Kaspersky Password Manager. The application will install an extension for each of the selected browsers. Kaspersky Password Manager uses extensions to automatically fill the login and password fields and log into websites.
To install the Kaspersky Password Manager extensions in the browsers:
- Prior to installing the extensions, make sure that the browsers with which you want to use Kaspersky Password Manager are closed.
- In the list of browsers installed on the device and supported by the application, select browsers with which you want to use Kaspersky Password Manager.
- Click the Continue button.
Extensions will be installed in the browsers that you selected. You will then be able to install extensions in other browsers or delete extensions from the browsers with which you do not want to use Kaspersky Password Manager.
When Kaspersky Password Manager extensions are installed, other password managers embedded into the browsers will be automatically disabled. This will help avoid conflicts when saving and inserting logins and passwords. Their functions will be performed by Kaspersky Password Manager.
Kaspersky Password Manager detects the installation of new browsers on your device and automatically prompts you to install the extensions for the new browsers.
