Information pane

The Information pane section of the Management Console allows you to monitor the current protection status of your Exchange Online organization.

The Components subsection contains information about the general protection status provided by the Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, Anti-Phishing, and Attachment Filtering application modules.

Possible status values for each component:

• Enabled. Message scanning by the corresponding module is enabled.
• Disabled. Message scanning by the corresponding module is disabled.

The License information subsection contains information about the licensing status of the application.

The section provides the following details:

• Type.
  • Beta. A license provided free of charge for testing purposes.
  • Trial. A license for trial use of the application. It is issued for a specific period set by Kaspersky Lab. When the trial license expires, all application features are disabled.
  • Commercial. A license for commercial use of the application. It is issued for a specific period set by Kaspersky Lab or your service provider when the license is purchased.
  • Commercial (subscription). A subscription-based license for commercial use of the application distributed through vendors.
• Expiration date. The date when the license expires.
• Number of protected mailboxes. Number of mailboxes selected for protection.
• Number of mailboxes covered by the license. The maximum number of mailboxes you may select for protection under the current license.

The Detection statistics subsection contains statistics on the operation of enabled application modules. In the drop down lists to the right of the subsection headers, you can choose the time period for which you want to display statistics. To refresh the statistical data, reload the corresponding Management Console web page in your browser.

The circle diagram provides the following details:

• Clean. Scanned messages containing no malicious objects, spam or phishing links.
• Mass mail. Detected mass mail messages.
• Spam. Detected spam messages.
• Phishing. Messages found to contain phishing links.
• Filtered attachments. Messages found to contain files that match the attachment filtering criteria.
• Infected. Messages found to contain malicious objects.

The line chart visualizes the detection number progress over the selected period of time.

The Top mailboxes with detected threats subsection lists the five mailboxes where the largest number of messages containing viruses and other malicious objects was detected.

The Top mailboxes with detected spam or phishing subsection lists the five mailboxes where the largest number of spam messages and messages containing phishing links was detected.

In the drop-down lists to the right of the subsection headers, you can choose the time period for which you want to display statistics.

The Last detections subsection contains information about the five most recent violations of the specified protection settings. For each detection case, the following details are available:

• user mailbox in which the violation was detected;
• message subject;
• date and time of violation detection;
• status assigned to the message by the corresponding application module.
