Specifying existing account credentials

To specify the credentials of an existing account that has the Security Admin role:

  1. Open the Kaspersky Security for Microsoft Office 365 Management Console.
  2. In the left part of the page, select the Information panel section.
  3. Open the Getting started tab.

    If you have not created a Service Account, the Exchange Online Quarantine block displays the following message: A Service Account is required to access messages from Exchange Online Quarantine.

  4. In the Exchange Online Quarantine block, click the Create account button.
  5. Select the Manually option and click Continue.
  6. Enter the credentials for the Service Account that was created earlier or use an existing user account, and click the Submit button.

    Multi-factor authentication is not supported while accessing messages from Exchange Online Quarantine. If your account uses multi-factor authentication, consider using another account.

The application validates the specified credentials and configures a Service Account. The progress and results of this operation are displayed on the same page.
