Changing a Service Account password

You cannot change the Microsoft Azure Active Directory credentials for a Service Account in the Kaspersky Security for Microsoft Office 365 settings. This option is only used to update the password stored in the application if you previously changed it in the Microsoft Office 365 Admin Center.

To change a Service Account password:

  1. Open the Kaspersky Security for Microsoft Office 365 Management Console.
  2. In the left part of the page, select the Settings section.
  3. Open the Connection tab.
  4. In the Exchange Online Quarantine block, click the Update password button.

    The Update password subsection opens.

  5. In the entry field, enter a new password and click Save.

The new password is saved. The Service Account starts using the new password.
