Correct operation of Kaspersky Sandbox requires the integration of Kaspersky Endpoint Agent and workstation protection applications (Endpoint Protection Platform, hereinafter also referred to as "EPP"): Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows, Kaspersky Security for Windows Server, and Kaspersky Security for Virtualization Light Agent. In this case, Kaspersky Endpoint Agent handles the communication between EPP applications and Kaspersky Sandbox, as well as Automatic Threat Response actions configured in Kaspersky Security Center policies.
To integrate Kaspersky Endpoint Agent with Kaspersky Endpoint Security and Kaspersky Security for Windows Server, you must install Kaspersky Endpoint Agent as part of those applications.
Version compatibility of Kaspersky Endpoint Agent for Windows and Kaspersky Security for Windows Server
You can install Kaspersky Endpoint Agent 3.9 as part of Kaspersky Security for Windows Server 11.
If necessary, you can upgrade Kaspersky Endpoint Agent 3.9 previously installed as part of Kaspersky Security for Windows Server 11 to version 3.11. The integration of applications is maintained.
Version compatibility of Kaspersky Endpoint Agent for Windows and Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows
You can install the following versions of Kaspersky Endpoint Agent as part of Kaspersky Endpoint Security:
Kaspersky Endpoint Security versions 11.2, 11.3, 11.4, 11.5, and 11.6 are compatible with Kaspersky Endpoint Agent versions 3.7, 3.8, 3.9, 3.10, and 3.11.
If necessary, you can upgrade Kaspersky Endpoint Agent previously installed as part of Kaspersky Endpoint Security. The integration of compatible versions is maintained when you upgrade either Kaspersky Endpoint Agent or Kaspersky Endpoint Security.
Version compatibility of Kaspersky Endpoint Agent for Windows and Kaspersky Security for Virtualization Light Agent
You can configure the integration of stand-alone applications: Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 5.2 Light Agent and Kaspersky Endpoint Agent 3.11. The integration is only possible for the specified versions of the applications. The applications can be installed in any order.
You can install Kaspersky Endpoint Agent on a virtual desktop in the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure. The integration scenario described above works correctly.
