Configuring user permissions to manage IOC Scan tasks

You must configure the permissions of the KSC user account that you want to use to manage IOC scanning tasks.

To configure permissions of a KSC user account for managing IOC scanning tasks:

Open the KSC console.
Select the Administration Server and right-click to open the Administration Server action menu.
Select the Properties menu item.
The property window for the Administration Server.
In the left part of the window, select the Security section.
Select the KSC user account that you want to use to manage IOC scanning tasks.
The lower part of the window displays a list of permissions of the selected user, grouped by application that the user can manage using the KSC.
In the Kaspersky Endpoint Agent group of permissions expand the Host Intrusion Prevention section.
Select the check boxes in the Allow column for the following types of permissions: Modify, Execute, and Perform actions on device selections.
Click Apply and OK.
