Deleting an object

You can delete objects such as policies, tasks, installation packages, internal users, and internal security groups if you have Modify permission, which is in the Basic functionality category of rights (refer to the Assigning permissions to users and groups article for more information).

You cannot delete installation packages that are used in remote installation tasks. You have to disable the corresponding tasks first. For more information about automatic installation tasks in an administration group, refer to the Automatic installation of applications on devices in an administration group article.

To delete an object:

In the console tree, in the workspace of the required folder select an object.
Do one of the following:
- Right-click the object and select Delete.
- Press the DELETE key.

The object will be deleted, and the information about it will be stored in the database.
