You can use an inventory task to inventory executable files on client devices. Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 for Windows provides the feature of inventorying executable files.
The number of executable files received from a single device cannot exceed 150,000. When Kaspersky Security Center reaches this limit, it cannot receive any new files.
To create an inventory task for executable files on client devices:
The New Task Wizard starts.
After the Wizard is done, an inventory task for Kaspersky Endpoint Security is created. The newly created task is displayed in the list of tasks in the workspace of the Tasks folder.
A list of executable files that have been detected on devices during inventory is displayed in the workspace of the Executable files folder.
During inventory, the application detects executable files of the following formats: MZ, COM, PE, NE, SYS, CMD, BAT, PS1, JS, VBS, REG, MSI, CPL, DLL, JAR, and HTML files.Page top
