About the license

The license is a right to use the app, limited in time, and provided to you under the terms of the End User License Agreement. A unique activation code for your copy of Kaspersky Security Cloud is linked to the license.

A license entitles you to the following kinds of services:

• Use of the app on one or several devices.

  The number of devices on which you can use the app is specified in the terms of the End User License Agreement.

• Contacting Kaspersky Lab Technical Support.
• Other services available from Kaspersky Lab or its partners during the license term.

The scope of services and the period of use depend on the version of the app.

The following app versions are available:

• Free version. The free version offers limited functionality of Kaspersky Security Cloud for an unlimited time. The limitations of the free version of the app are specified in the End User License Agreement.
• Trial version. The trial version lets you use full app functionality during a trial period without paying a fee. When the trial period expires, the app automatically switches to the free version. Trial version is available as soon as you install the app.

  You can switch from the trial version to the premium version of the app.

• Premium version. The premium version offers full app functionality. The premium version is available after purchasing a license or a subscription. The license is valid for a limited time. When the license expires, the app automatically switches to the free version. You can continue using the app after the license expires. To do so, renew the license or switch to the free version of the app.

You can purchase or renew the license or subscription on Kaspersky Security Cloud on the My Kaspersky portal.

The app functionality is available only for My Kaspersky accounts for which the selected region corresponds to a region where Kaspersky Security Cloud is available.
