About data provision
For the purposes of detecting emerging information security threats, intrusion threats, and threats that are hard to detect (along with their respective sources), and to take swift actions for improving the level of protection of information stored and processed using your Computer, as well as to receive information and advertising materials concerning information security, the user agrees to automatically submit the following data:
- Information on the utilized wireless network, including the wireless network ID (SSID), checksums (MD5, SHA256) from the unique ID of the wireless network (BSSID), checksums of the user's connections to the wireless network, checksums (SHA256) of the fields of messages received via the DHCP protocol after connecting to the wireless network, strength of the wireless network signal, checksums (SHA256) of local IP addresses issued, duration of the wireless network connection, types of connections supported by the access point, data on the utilized configuration for connecting to the wireless network, indication of the presence of a network domain, indication of whether the computer was running on AC power when the connection was established, and the wireless network scan results.
- Information on downloaded and installed apps, including the name of the app installer (APK) and its path, checksums (MD5) of the app installer (APK) and the DEX file within the installer, the name and version of the installed app, indication of whether the app is located in the system catalog, the app version, and data from the app manifest file.
- Information on the certificate with which the app installer was signed. including the serial number of the certificate, the checksum of the certificate (SHA256), installer signing date, public key with which the certificate was signed, the name of the company that signed the certificate, dates of certificate issue and expiration, version of the app code and version of the utilized software of the Rightholder.
- Unique ID of the User in the Rightholder's system.
- Data on the software/hardware configuration of the device, including the type and version of the OS, the name of the model, the name, ID, version and build number of the firmware, the name of the manufacturer, and an indication of the presence of super-user rights on the computer.
- Information on information security threats on the Computer, including the checksums of files in which threats were detected, and data on the names, sizes and locations of such files on the Computer. In addition to the specified information, the following information is also submitted: information on anti-virus database records based on which the corresponding threats were detected, the names of detected threats based on the classification of the Rightholder, and other technical information on the detected threat.
- Information on Computer settings that, according to the Rightholder, lower the information security level, including the internal IDs of such settings and their importance level, as well as links to the relevant description in the Knowledge Base of the Rightholder.
- Unique ID of the software installation on the computer, version of the installed software, ID of the software type, and the unique ID of the Computer.
- List of available wireless networks and access points, the URL or hash of its part requiring specific actions by the user, and the value of VPN component settings.
The user agrees to automatically submit the following information for the purposes of improving the performance of the software:
- Information on the use of Virtual Private Network (VPN) functionality, including information on the geographic location of the VPN server, the ID of the VPN session start scenario and the type of start, the ID of the action performed by the user when starting a VPN session, data about the event that invoked the start of the VPN session and about the reason why the VPN session was terminated, duration of the VPN session (in seconds), data about incoming and outgoing traffic (in bytes), and the type of license utilized for the VPN functionality.
- Unique ID of the software installation on the computer, version of the installed software, ID of the software type, and the unique ID of the Computer.
- Software operating mode, ID of the adaptive scenario, action taken when the adaptive scenario is triggered, action performed by the user, geographic location of the VPN server, condition for starting the adaptive scenario, checksum (SHA 256) received using unique device IDs and the conditions for starting the scenario.
- Device ID, software ID, software localization, ID of the partner for which the build was released, the type of operating system, the type and model of the device, and the date and time of software installation.
To improve the performance of the software and to assess the effectiveness of scenario execution, the User agrees to automatically submit the following information:
- ID of the action performed upon detection of an OS setting that has lowered the level of computer protection, ID of the specific setting, level of the user account that performed the action regarding the OS setting that lowered the level of computer protection, and the type of scan task that detected the setting that lowered the level of computer protection.
- Prefix of the device MAC address, type of operating system, type of device, number of characters in the device name, manufacturer of the device and network card, and the DHCP settings.
- Date and time of the start and end of statistics collection, identifiers of signs that a child is using the computer, as well as the date and time at which this information was generated; information about the user, including the user name in the operating system, the default keyboard layout, information about websites visited, including the date and time of the visits, the website category based on the categorization of Kaspersky Lab, title of the web page, URL; information about the search request, including the date and time when the request was completed, the content and category of the search request based on the categorization of Kaspersky Lab; information on installed and active apps, including the date and time, type of app activity event, frequency of use of apps, unique ID of the process, app name, app category based on the categorization of Kaspersky Lab, checksum of the app file (MD5), app category based on age restrictions, minimum permissible age for an app that has an age restriction; information on the device location, including the ID of the country and city, ID of the language installed in the operating system, version of the component, information on the time zone of the user, and the checksum (CRC64) of the device ID.
For the purposes of helping the Rightholder generate effective marketing and news materials, you agree to automatically submit the following information to the Apps Flyer service:
- Data on the utilized software, including the ID and version of the utilized software, the date on which the software was installed on the user's computer, and the name of the app package
- Information about the computer on which the software is installed, including the name of the computer manufacturer and the model name, the computer name defined by the user, the unique ID of the computer, information on the installed operating system, and the type of network connection
- Name of the mobile network operator and region
- Information on the AppsFlyer SDK used in the software, including the SDK version and build number
- Unique ID of the user in Google services
- Information about the language (locale) of the device
- Date, time and name of the event for which information is submitted, the event parameter and code of the utilized currency
To help improve software performance and aid in the analysis of user satisfaction, you agree to submit the following data to the Google Analytics service:
- Version of the utilized software, name of the software in the Google service, and ID of the software in the Google service
- Unique ID of the software installation on the computer, and information about the language (locale) of the device
- Computer screen resolution, name of the computer window or dialog box that is active when data is submitted, identifier of the start and end of working with the selected window or dialog, and the duration of the session during which the window was active
- Version of the protocol used to submit data to the Google Analytics service
- ID of the event for which data is submitted
- IDs of actions performed by the software
- Unique ID of the user in Google services
- Information about the architecture of the device processor
Data is transmitted to the Apps Flyer and Google Analytics services over a secure connection.
Access to and protection of information is regulated by the relevant terms of use of the AppsFlyer and Google Analytics services.
For all of the purposes listed above, the User agrees to automatically submit the following information:
- Type of device platform
- Version of the installed operating system
- Build number
- Processor type
The software processes the received information, excluding data associated with a specific individual or with an individual that can be identified based on such information (the owner of personal data), and does not link the processed information with the personal data of the User in any way whatsoever.
The Rightholder reserves the right to use the received information to generate reports on information security risks.
The received information is protected by Kaspersky Lab in accordance with the requirements established by current legislation and in accordance with current regulations of Kaspersky Lab.
Kaspersky Lab uses the received information only in anonymized form and only as general statistical data. General statistics are automatically generated using the originally collected information and do not contain any personal data or other confidential information. The original information received is destroyed as new information is accumulated (once a year). Aggregate statistics are stored indefinitely.
