Installing the app

You can install Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection from app distribution platforms of Google or Huawei.

To use Google Play or AppGallery, you must:

  • Have a user account.
  • Link your device to your user account.
  • Have access to the internet.

For more information on using Google Play, go to Google Play Help Center. For more information on using AppGallery, go to the AppGallery Support website.

To install Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection from the Google Play or AppGallery:

  1. Open the Google Play or AppGallery app on your device.
  2. Find the Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection app.
  3. Open the app page.
  4. View the list of permissions Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection needs.
    • If you agree to grant the app required permissions, tap Install.

      The installation of the app begins.

    • If you refuse to grant the app required permissions, don't install the app.

If a device running the Android operating system has modified firmware, there is an increased risk that the device will be hacked and your data will be stolen or corrupted.

Uninstalling the app

To uninstall Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection:

  1. Tap Settings > Apps > Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection > Uninstall.

    The name of the section for managing apps may vary depending on the device model (for example: App Manager).

    The uninstallation confirmation window opens.

  2. Confirm uninstallation.
