Application icon
Application icon
The application icon appears in the menu bar after you open Kaspersky Secure Connection. When you quit the application, the icon disappears from the menu bar. If you allow Kaspersky Secure Connection to run in the background, the application icon remains in the menu bar even after you close the application window. The active application icon () shows that Secure Connection is on. The inactive application icon (
) shows that Secure Connection is off.
Open the application icon menu
In the menu bar, click the application icon.
From the application icon menu, you can:
- Open the main application window.
- Turn Secure Connection on and off.
- Select a VPN server location (in the extended version only).
- Let the application run in the background.
- Open the Subscription window to upgrade Kaspersky Secure Connection to the extended version.
- Open the application preferences window.
- Quit the application.
