Application icon

The application icon appears in the menu bar after you open Kaspersky VPN. When you quit the application, the icon disappears from the menu bar. If you allow Kaspersky VPN to run in the background, the application icon remains in the menu bar even after you close the application window. The active application icon () shows that VPN is on. The inactive application icon () shows that VPN is off.

Open the application icon menu

From the application icon menu, you can:

• Open the main application window.
• Turn VPN on and off.
• Select a VPN server (in the Premium version only).
• View the amount of used and available traffic (in the Standard version only).
• Let the application run in the background.
• Open the Subscription window to upgrade Kaspersky VPN to the Premium version.
• Open the application preferences window.
• Quit the application.
