To receive notifications about the status of secure connection when connecting to a Wi-Fi network:

1. Open the main application window.
2. In the main application window, click the button .
3. Select the Settings item in the drop-down menu.

   The Settings window opens.

4. Select the Apply general rules on connection to Wi-Fi networks check box if it has been cleared.
5. Click the Settings button.
6. In the General rules for connecting to Wi-Fi networks window, perform the following actions:
   • Select the Notify if secure connection to a Wi-Fi network cannot be established check box if you want to receive notifications that the application was unable to establish a secure connection when connecting to a Wi-Fi network.
   • Select the Notify when enabled check box if you want to receive notifications that the application has successfully established a secure connection when connecting to a Wi-Fi network.

To receive notifications that the application has started and a secure connection is enabled:

1. Open the main application window.
2. In the main application window, click the button .
3. Select the Settings item in the drop-down menu.

   The Settings window opens.

4. Select the Enable secure connection at Kaspersky Secure Connection startup check box if it has been cleared.

   This displays the Notify when enabled check box.

5. Select the Notify when enabled check box.

To receive notifications about the activation of a secure connection when connecting to a selected Wi-Fi network:

1. Open the main application window.
2. In the main application window, click the button .
3. Select the Settings item in the drop-down menu.

   The Settings window opens.

4. Click the Settings button.

   This opens the General rules for connecting to Wi-Fi networks window.

5. Click the Manage known Wi-Fi networks button.

   This opens the Manage known Wi-Fi networks window. Wi-Fi-networks to which you connected earlier are displayed in this window. If you have not connected to Wi-Fi networks, this list is empty.

6. Select the Wi-Fi network for which you want to receive notifications informing you that a secure connection is enabled.
7. Click the Edit button.

   This opens the Settings for <name of Wi-Fi network> window.

8. In the Action on connection to the Wi-Fi network <name of Wi-Fi network> section, select the Enable secure connection automatically option if it is not already selected.
9. Select the Notify when enabled check box.
10. Click the Save button.
