Enabling and disabling participation in Kaspersky Security Network

To enable or disable participation in Kaspersky Security Network:

  1. Open the main application window.
  2. In the main application window, click the button VPN Menu.
  3. Select Settings → Additional from the drop-down menu.
  4. To read the terms of participation in Kaspersky Security Network, click the Kaspersky Security Network Statement link.
  5. Do one of the following:
    • If you want to participate in Kaspersky Security Network, switch the I want to provide better protection for my computer and agree to participate in Kaspersky Security Network (KSN) toggle to On.
    • If you do not want to participate in Kaspersky Security Network, switch the I want to improve protection and agree to participate in Kaspersky Security Network (KSN) toggle to Off.

If you installed the application in the European Union, the United Kingdom, Brazil, or as a California resident, the Settings window shows the I agree to provide data to improve protection setting instead of the Kaspersky Security Network Statement.

To provide data to improve protection:

  1. Switch the I agree to provide data to improve protection toggle to On.

    The Kaspersky Security Network Statement window opens.

  2. Read the statement and click the Accept button.

To cancel providing data to improve protection,

Switch the I agree to provide data to improve protection toggle to Off.
