How to protect data if your secure connection is lost

When you enable a secure connection, we will reliably protect your data while surfing the Internet. However, if you lose your secure connection, your data will remain unprotected, and attackers can steal it. To ensure that your data is always protected even when your secure connection is interrupted, we added the Kill Switch feature to Kaspersky Secure Connection.

By default, the Kill Switch feature is turned off and Kaspersky Secure Connection does not block your Internet access if your secure connection is interrupted.

To enable Kill Switch:

  1. Open the main application window.
  2. In the main application window, click the button VPN Menu.
  3. Select Settings → Kill Switch from the menu.
  4. Switch the Kill Switch toggle to On.

The application will block your Internet access if your secure connection is interrupted.
