How to configure Anti-Banner

The availability of this functionality depends on the terms of your subscription.

The Anti-Banner feature blocks unwanted banners while you browse the web, preventing them from appearing on websites and in some applications. You can manage the blocking settings through the Kaspersky application interface.

To enable the Anti-Banner function, you must turn off VPN.

To enable Anti-Banner if the Kaspersky application is not installed on your computer:

  1. Open the main application window.
  2. In the main application window, click the Menu button.
  3. Select SettingsAnti-Banner and switch the toggle to On.
  4. For setting up the Anti-Banner feature, you need to install Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection along with the Kaspersky application.

To configure and enable Anti-Banner if the Kaspersky application is installed on your computer:

  1. Open the main application window.
  2. In the main application window, click the Menu button.
  3. Select SettingsAnti-Banner.
  4. If the Kaspersky application is installed on your computer, you can enable and configure the Anti-Banner component only in the interface of the Kaspersky application. In this case, the Settings button is available in the Anti-Banner block.
  5. Clicking the Settings button will open the Anti-Banner settings section in the Kaspersky application.
  6. If the component is disabled, enable it by setting the toggle in the upper part of the window to On and specify the settings you need:
    • List of filters. Use this option to select specific filters for more precise control over which banners should be blocked.
    • Websites with allowed banners. Use this option to create a list of websites where banners are allowed to be displayed.
    • Blocked banners. Use this option to create a list of banners to be blocked.
    • Allowed banners. Use this option to create a list of banners to be allowed.
    • Allow banners on Kaspersky websites. If the check box is selected, Anti-Banner does not block banners on Kaspersky websites or its partners' websites that host Kaspersky advertisements. A list of these websites is available via the Kaspersky websites link.
    • Kaspersky websites. Clicking this link opens a window with a list of Kaspersky websites.
