What's new

Kaspersky created a special version of the application for residents of the U.S. state of California. If you are a resident of the U.S. state of California, you need to download and install this version of the application.

The following new features and improvements are introduced in Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection:

• Added support for Microsoft Windows 11.
• Added support for Microsoft Windows 10 21H2.
• VPN data transfer rate is increased.
• Added support for the new format of regions through which the Kaspersky VPN connection is established. Now you can select a city in addition to a country.
• A secure connection has been improved through more efficient switching between virtual servers.
• A prompt was added to the user interface to install the new Kaspersky Plus application instead of Kaspersky Internet Security.
• Now you can activate Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection using an activation code for the Kaspersky Plus application if the Kaspersky Plus application is not connected to My Kaspersky.
• If Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection was activated using an activation code issued for the Kaspersky Plus application, the Subscription window now includes information about the Kaspersky Plus application subscription.
• The Setup Wizard was brought into accordance with the new design.
• Kaspersky VPN is no longer automatically turned on for new users when connecting to unsecured networks and opening unsecured websites.
• Now you can establish a secure connection via OpenVPN clients.
