How to uninstall the application
Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection is uninstalled with the help of the Setup Wizard.
To start the Wizard on a computer running under Microsoft Windows 7 or earlier versions,
in the Start menu, select All Programs → Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection → Remove Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection.
How to start the Wizard on a computer running Microsoft Windows 8 or later
To start the Wizard on a computer running under Microsoft Windows 8 or a later operating system:
- On the start screen, right click the Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection tile to call up the toolbar.
- Click the Remove button on the toolbar.
- In the window that opens, select Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection in the list.
- Click the Remove button in the upper part of the list.
The Setup Wizard starts.

Step 1. Preparing to uninstall the application
The Preparing to uninstall the application window opens.
Wait for application removal preparation to complete and click the Next button.

At this step, click Next to begin removing the application or click Cancel if you want to cancel application removal.
Page topStep 3. Saving the application settings
During this step, select the Save operational settings of the application check box if you want to save the previously configured application settings on the device.
If the check box is selected:
- The following application settings are saved:
- Rules for starting the application at computer startup;
- Settings for enabling VPN;
- VPN settings when connecting to Wi-Fi networks;
- VPN settings for selected Wi-Fi networks;
- VPN settings for website categories and for selected websites.
- The following settings are not saved:
- Subscription settings;
- My Kaspersky connection settings.
If the check box is cleared, only the VPN settings for selected websites are saved.
Click the Next button to continue removing the application.

During this step, the Wizard removes the application from your device.
During removal of the application, you must restart your computer. If you choose not to restart your computer immediately, the removal procedure will be completed after the next restart or after you shut down your computer and turn it on again.
