Kaspersky Safe Kids can be installed on your child's computer and on a family computer used by your child. If children don't use a computer, you don't need to install Kaspersky Safe Kids on it.
Depending on your child's age, you can install the application and set the rules on device use alone or with your child. Our advice for parents will help you discuss installing Kaspersky Safe Kids with your child.
A My Kaspersky account is required to sign in to and use My Kaspersky and to use certain Kaspersky Lab applications.
If you don't have a My Kaspersky account yet, you can create one on the portal or directly from Kaspersky Safe Kids. You can also use your other Kaspersky Lab accounts to sign in to My Kaspersky.
Download the Kaspersky Safe Kids distribution kit (.dmg file) from the My Kaspersky portal.
Open the Kaspersky Safe Kids distribution kit (.dmg file).

In the window with the contents of the distribution kit, double-click Install Kaspersky Safe Kids.
The Kaspersky Safe Kids installer opens.
Carefully read the End User License Agreement and the Terms of Use and do one of the following:
If you agree to the terms of the End User License Agreement and the Terms of Use, accept them and continue the installation.
If you don't agree to the terms of the End User License Agreement and the Terms of Use, cancel the installation of Kaspersky Safe Kids and don't use the application.
Click Download and Install.
Kaspersky Safe Kids downloads the remaining installation files.
In the prompt for administrator credentials, enter an administrator name and password and confirm that you want to install Kaspersky Safe Kids.
The installation of Kaspersky Safe Kids continues.
When the installation is finished, click Done to quit the installer.
When the installation finishes, the Sign In to My Kaspersky window opens.
Open the Kaspersky Safe Kids distribution kit (.dmg file).

In the window with the contents of the distribution kit, double-click Install Kaspersky Safe Kids.
If your computer is connected to the Internet, the Kaspersky Safe Kids installer checks if a new version is available on the My Kaspersky portal. Do one of the following:
If you want to check for a new version of Kaspersky Safe Kids, do nothing.
If you don't want to check for a new version of Kaspersky Safe Kids, click Skip.
If a newer version is available, the Kaspersky Safe Kids installer prompts you to confirm that you want to download the newer version. Do one of the following:
If you want to download the newer version, click Yes.
If you don't want to download the newer version, click No.
The welcome window of the Kaspersky Safe Kids installer opens.
Carefully read the End User License Agreement and the Terms of Use and do one of the following:
If you agree to the terms of the End User License Agreement and the Terms of Use, accept them and continue the installation.
If you don't agree to the terms of the End User License Agreement and the Terms of Use, cancel the installation of Kaspersky Safe Kids and don't use the application.
Click Install.
