Monitor Internet use
On the parent's Android device:
Turn on Internet use monitoring
- Tap
on the Kaspersky Safe Kids navigation bar.
This opens the Kaspersky Safe Kids settings.
- Tap Internet.
- Set Web activity monitoring to ON.
After these settings are applied, Kaspersky Safe Kids will monitor access to the Internet:
- on your child’s Android devices:
- in Google Chrome
- in standard Android browser
- in Huawei browser
- on your child's iOS devices with Screen Time enabled:
- in Safari
- in Google Chrome
- in FireFox
- in Opera, etc.
- Tap
on the Kaspersky Safe Kids navigation bar.
This opens the Kaspersky Safe Kids settings.
- Tap Internet.
- Make sure that the Web activity monitoring switch is turned on.
- Select the Safe Search check box.
Turn on Safe Search on YouTube This opens the Kaspersky Safe Kids settings. on the Kaspersky Safe Kids navigation bar.
Turn on YouTube Monitoring This opens the Kaspersky Safe Kids settings. on the Kaspersky Safe Kids navigation bar.
Turn on notifications about searches on restricted themes
- Tap
on the Kaspersky Safe Kids navigation bar.
This opens the Kaspersky Safe Kids settings.
- Tap Internet.
- Make sure that the Web activity monitoring switch is turned on.
- Turn on the Notify about searching on restricted themes switch.
Block or allow website categories
- Tap
on the Kaspersky Safe Kids navigation bar.
This opens the Kaspersky Safe Kids settings.
- Tap Internet.
- Make sure that the Web activity monitoring switch is turned on.
- In the Settings for categories section, specify which website categories are forbidden for your child.
Block or allow specific websites (add exclusions)
- Tap
on the Kaspersky Safe Kids navigation bar.
This opens the Kaspersky Safe Kids settings.
- Tap Internet.
- Make sure that the Web activity monitoring switch is turned on.
- Tap Exclusions.
A list of exclusions opens.
- Tap
.
A form for adding an exclusion opens.
- In the Web address field, type the address of the website you want to block or allow.
- Specify whether the child is allowed or forbidden to visit this website.
- Tap
.
The specified website appears in the list of exclusions.
Block access to all websites This opens the Kaspersky Safe Kids settings. All websites will be blocked, except for those you have specified in the Exclusions section. on the Kaspersky Safe Kids navigation bar.
On the parent's iOS device:
Turn on Internet use monitoring
- Tap Settings on the Kaspersky Safe Kids navigation bar.
This opens the Kaspersky Safe Kids settings.
- Select the child.
- Tap Internet.
- Set Web activity monitoring to ON.
After these settings are applied, Kaspersky Safe Kids will monitor access to the Internet:
- on your child’s Android devices:
- in Google Chrome
- in standard Android browser
- in Huawei browser
- on your child's iOS devices with Screen Time enabled:
- in Safari
- in Google Chrome
- in FireFox
- in Opera, etc.
- Tap Settings on the Kaspersky Safe Kids navigation bar.
This opens the Kaspersky Safe Kids settings.
- Select the child.
- Tap Internet.
- Make sure that the Web activity monitoring switch is turned on.
- Select the Safe Search check box.
Turn on Safe Search on YouTube
- Tap Settings on the Kaspersky Safe Kids navigation bar.
This opens the Kaspersky Safe Kids settings.
- Select the child.
- Tap Internet.
- Make sure that the Web activity monitoring switch is turned on.
- Go to the Search settings section.
- Tap the Safe Search on YouTube toggle switch to turn this feature on.
Access to unsafe videos hosted on YouTube will be blocked and the child will get a warning message when they try to view unsafe videos.
Turn on notifications about searches on restricted themes
- Tap Settings on the Kaspersky Safe Kids navigation bar.
This opens the Kaspersky Safe Kids settings.
- Select the child.
- Tap Internet.
- Make sure that the Web activity monitoring switch is turned on.
- Turn on the Notify about searching on restricted themes switch.
Block or allow website categories
- Tap Settings on the Kaspersky Safe Kids navigation bar.
This opens the Kaspersky Safe Kids settings.
- Select the child.
- Tap Internet.
- Make sure that the Web activity monitoring switch is turned on.
- In the Settings for categories section, specify which website categories are forbidden for your child.
Block or allow specific websites (add exclusions)
- Tap Settings on the Kaspersky Safe Kids navigation bar.
This opens the Kaspersky Safe Kids settings.
- Select the child.
- Tap Internet.
- Make sure that the Web activity monitoring switch is turned on.
- Go to Website settings
- Tap Website Exclusions.
A list of exclusions opens.
- Tap Add Exclusion.
A form for adding an exclusion opens.
- In the Web address field, type the address of the website you want to block or allow.
- Specify whether your child is allowed or forbidden to visit this website.
- Tap Done.
The specified website appears in the list of exclusions.
- Tap Settings on the Kaspersky Safe Kids navigation bar.
This opens the Kaspersky Safe Kids settings.
- Select the child.
- Tap Internet.
- Make sure that the Web activity monitoring switch is turned on.
- Go to the Website settings section.
- Tap the Block all websites toggle switch to turn this feature on.
All websites will be blocked, except for those you have specified in the Exclusions section.
