About alerts on your child's activity

Kaspersky Safe Kids lets you receive alerts about your child's activity in real time. For example, you can receive alerts about the following events:

  • Attempt to visit a forbidden website.
  • Attempt to open a forbidden application.
  • The child has left the allowed area.
  • Battery level of your child's device is less than 15%.
  • Attempt to uninstall Kaspersky Safe Kids.

If your child is using an Android device, you can receive notifications when he or she turns off important settings. Go to Alert settings → Important app functions were turned off.

You can select which alerts you receive.

You can view alerts on the My Kaspersky portal, on your mobile device with Kaspersky Safe Kids installed, and in your email.

Alerts on the parent's mobile device and by email are only available in the premium version of Kaspersky Safe Kids. When using the free version, you can only view alerts on My Kaspersky.

Manage alert settings

On the parent's Android device:

Manage alerts about your child's activity

  1. On the Kaspersky Safe Kids navigation bar, tap → Alert settings.
  2. In the Receive alerts section, select how you want to receive alerts:
    • If you want alerts to be sent to your email address, turn on the By email switch. Alerts will be sent to the email address specified in your My Kaspersky account.
    • If you want brief alerts to appear in the upper part of the screen on the parent's mobile device running Kaspersky Safe Kids, turn on the Push notifications to the parent's mobile app switch. Alerts will be displayed in the notification area of the parent's mobile device.
  3. In the Alert types section, select the activities for which you want to receive alerts.

On the parent's iOS device:

  1. On the Kaspersky Safe Kids navigation bar, tap Additional → Alert Settings.
  2. In the Receive Alerts section, select how you want to receive alerts:
    • If you want alerts to be sent to your email address, turn on the By Email switch. Alerts will be sent to the email address specified in your My Kaspersky account.
    • If you want brief alerts to appear in the upper part of the screen on the parent's mobile device running Kaspersky Safe Kids, turn on the Push Notifications to Parent’s Mobile App switch. Alerts will be displayed in the notification center on the parent's mobile device.
  3. In the Internet, Device use,Apps, Status, Where is my child, and Social networks sections, select the activities for which you want to receive alerts.

View alerts about your child's activity

You can view the latest alerts on your mobile device with Kaspersky Safe Kids installed, in your email, or on My Kaspersky.

On the parent's Android device:

View alerts about your child's activity

  1. On the Summary window, select the child.
  2. Tap next to your child's name.

    A list of alerts about your child's activity on all devices opens.

On the parent's iOS device:

View alerts about your child's activity

  1. Tap Alerts on the Kaspersky Safe Kids navigation bar.

    This opens a list of all alerts.

  2. Tap Children and select a child.

    A list of alerts about your child's activity on all devices opens.
