With Internet use monitoring, you can find out what websites your child has visited and restrict their access to websites with unwanted content. You can use the default settings (based on your child's age), or you can adjust the settings according to the needs of your child.
Internet use monitoring offers the following features:
When your child searches for information on the Internet, content from the following categories will be blocked:
Adult content
Alcohol, tobacco, narcotics
Profanity, obscenity
Extremism, racism
Google (including "Ok Google"), Bing, Mail.ru, Yandex, and Yahoo! search engines are supported. Supported search engines also block search results that do not fit your child’s age. On Windows devices, safe search on YouTube is also provided.
The Safe Search feature also blocks restricted content if your child's browser is in the private mode (the specific name of this mode depends on the browser).
You can restrict your child’s access to content hosted on YouTube. We will block the search results that are classified in the following categories:
Adult content
Alcohol, tobacco, narcotics
Profanity, obscenity
Extremism, racism
When your child tries to open a video that is classified as unsafe, they will see a message that states that access is forbidden for these search results. At the same time, you can receive notifications about their search attempts.
Reports and alerts are available only in the Premium version of Kaspersky Safe Kids.
If your child searches for restricted content, Kaspersky Safe Kids notifies you and highlights such search queries in reports. The categories of your child's search queries are defined by Kaspersky Safe Kids.
You can restrict your child's access to websites that belong to specific categories. For each category, you can set one of the following options:
Allowed. Your child can visit websites in the category.
Warn. When your child tries to open a website, Kaspersky Safe Kids notifies your child that visiting the website is not recommended. Your child can heed the warning and leave the website or ignore the warning and go to the website.
Forbidden. When your child tries to open a website, Kaspersky Safe Kids blocks it and displays a warning window. Your child can select Ask for permission to request access to the forbidden website.
Some website categories are already forbidden according to your child's age.
In Samsung Internet Browser, Kaspersky Safe Kids does not block forbidden websites if these websites are opened in a background tab.
You can restrict your child's access to specific websites or allow access to a website that belongs to a forbidden category. You can set one of the following options for a website:
