About location monitoring

Location monitoring offers the following features:

  • Locate your child via his or her mobile device

You can view your child's location on My Kaspersky in Kids > Where is my child? or in the parent's mobile app in the Where is child? section.

Kaspersky Safe Kids uses Google Maps to locate mobile devices. More information about Google Maps tools (such as zooming in and out on the map) is available on the Google support website. By using Google Maps, you automatically accept its terms of service.

  • Add allowed area

You can set up an allowed area on a map and specify the hours during which your child must remain within the allowed area. For example, your child must be at school from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. If your child leaves the allowed area while it is active, you will receive a notification.

Location monitoring is available in the premium version of Kaspersky Safe Kids on your child's Android and iOS devices with a GPS module and Internet connection.
