Uninstall Kaspersky Safe Kids
Kaspersky Safe Kids is protected against uninstallation by your child. When you uninstall Kaspersky Safe Kids, you must enter an administrator account password and your My Kaspersky account password. Don't give these passwords to your children. Make sure these passwords are strong so your children can't guess them. If your children guess these passwords, they will be able to secretly uninstall Kaspersky Safe Kids from the computer.
The application notifies you about all attempts to uninstall Kaspersky Safe Kids.
Uninstall Kaspersky Safe Kids from the computer
- Sign in to a Windows administrator's account.
- Open the Control Panel in one of the following ways:
- If you use Windows XP / Windows Vista / Windows 7, select Control Panel in the Start menu.
- If you use Windows 8 / Windows 8.1, press the Win + I shortcut and select the Control Panel item.
- If you use Windows 10, press the Win + X shortcut and select the Control Panel item.
- In the window that opens, select Programs and Features.
- In the list of applications, select Kaspersky Safe Kids and click Uninstall.
The uninstall wizard window opens.
- Click the Next button.
- Enter the password for your My Kaspersky account and click Next.
The application prompts you to confirm the uninstallation of the application.
- Click Uninstall to confirm your decision to uninstall the application.
The uninstallation of Kaspersky Safe Kids starts. The application prompts you to restart the computer during the uninstallation process.
- Restart the computer to finish uninstallation of Kaspersky Safe Kids.
Kaspersky Safe Kids is successfully uninstalled from your computer. Information about your children remains on the My Kaspersky portal.
