You can install Kaspersky Safe Kids in one of the following ways:
From the My Kaspersky portal. Use your existing My Kaspersky account or create a new one to access the My Kaspersky portal. From the My Kaspersky portal, you can download and install the latest version of Kaspersky Safe Kids.
From the distribution kit downloaded from the Kaspersky Lab website. If you install the application from the distribution kit, the installer checks the My Kaspersky portal for a newer version of Kaspersky Safe Kids. If a newer version is available, the installer can download and install it on your computer.
A user account on the My Kaspersky portal. It consists of an email address and password specified during registration on the My Kaspersky portal.
A My Kaspersky account provides access to all Kaspersky Lab services. With a My Kaspersky account, you can buy and renew licenses for Kaspersky Lab products, download the latest versions of Kaspersky Lab applications, and sync data across multiple devices.
Download the Kaspersky Safe Kids distribution kit (.dmg file) from the My Kaspersky portal.
Open the Kaspersky Safe Kids distribution kit (.dmg file).
A window with the contents of the distribution kit opens.
In the window with the contents of the distribution kit, double-click Install Kaspersky Safe Kids.
The Kaspersky Safe Kids installer checks for a connection to the Internet. If your computer is connected to the Internet, the welcome window of the Kaspersky Safe Kids installer opens.
Carefully read the End User License Agreement and the Terms of Use and do one of the following:
If you agree to the terms of the End User License Agreement and the Terms of Use, accept them and continue the installation.
If you don't agree to the terms of the End User License Agreement and the Terms of Use, cancel the installation of Kaspersky Safe Kids and don't use the application.
In the prompt for administrator credentials, enter an administrator name and password and confirm that you want to install Kaspersky Safe Kids.
The installation of Kaspersky Safe Kids continues.
When the installation is finished, click the Done button to quit the installer.
When the installation finishes, the Sign in toMy Kaspersky window opens.
Open the Kaspersky Safe Kids distribution kit (.dmg file).

In the window with the contents of the distribution kit, double-click Install Kaspersky Safe Kids.
If your computer is connected to the Internet, the Kaspersky Safe Kids installer checks if a new version is available on the My Kaspersky portal. Do one of the following:
An online hub for buying and renewing licenses for Kaspersky Lab applications, downloading the latest versions of Kaspersky Lab applications, contacting Technical Support, and syncing data across multiple devices. You must have a My Kaspersky account to access the My Kaspersky portal.
If you want to check for a new version of Kaspersky Safe Kids, do nothing.
If you don't want to check for a new version of Kaspersky Safe Kids, click the Skip button.
If a newer version is available, the Kaspersky Safe Kids installer prompts you to confirm that you want to download the newer version. Do one of the following:
If you want to download the newer version, click the Yes button.
If you don't want to download the newer version, click the No button.
The welcome window of the Kaspersky Safe Kids installer opens.
Carefully read the End User License Agreement and the Terms of Use and do one of the following:
If you agree to the terms of the End User License Agreement and the Terms of Use, accept them and continue the installation.
