Activating the app
A process of activating a license that allows you to use a fully-functional version of the application until the license expires.
Child's profile
A set of the child's details: name, age, image, devices used, and the child's photo.
Configuration profile
A file that includes a set of settings and restrictions for an iOS mobile device.
Free version
A version of Kaspersky Safe Kids that is distributed free of charge. The free version of Kaspersky Safe Kids has limited functionality.
Kaspersky Safe Kids Browser
An app providing safe access to the Internet from child’s iOS mobile devices. If the web activity monitoring is turned on, other browsers installed on the device will be blocked.
Browser blocks malicious sites designed to spread malicious code. Browser also blocks phishing websites designed to steal confidential data of the user (passwords to online banking or e-money systems) and access the user's financial info. Browser scans websites before you open them, using the Kaspersky Security Network cloud service. Depending on the scan results, browser opens websites that are recognized as genuine, and blocks websites that are considered dangerous.
License
A time-limited right to use the app, granted under the End User License Agreement.
My Kaspersky
A one-stop online resource for remote management and licensing of Kaspersky Lab applications, downloading application installation package to devices, and getting technical support. An account is required to sign in to My Kaspersky portal. You can create an account when registering on My Kaspersky portal or use your existing account credentials if you are registered with other Kaspersky Lab resources.
My Kaspersky account
A user account that is required for signing in to the My Kaspersky portal as well as to use the portal and certain Kaspersky Lab applications. You can create the account when registering on My Kaspersky portal. This account can also be used to access other Kaspersky Lab resources.
Premium version
A version of Kaspersky Safe Kids distributed under a license with a limited term. The functionality of the premium version of Kaspersky Safe Kids is not limited. The license term is limited. When the license term ends, Kaspersky Safe Kids reverts to the limited functionality of the free version. To continue using the premium version of Kaspersky Safe Kids, the license must be renewed.
