About Kaspersky Safe Kids

Kaspersky Safe Kids is a software solution that protects children when they are using apps and the Internet. For example, Kaspersky Safe Kids lets you limit the time your child spends playing games or block access to websites that contain profanity and obscenity. Kaspersky Safe Kids runs on devices under Microsoft Windows, OS X, Android and iOS.

Kaspersky Safe Kids protection includes the following components:

Web Activity Monitoring. This component lets you allow or block access to certain websites and keeps statistics on website visits and search queries (only for requests sent using the Bing, Google, Yahoo!, Mail.ru, and Yandex search engines).
Application activity monitoring. This component lets you allow or block access to apps and keeps statistics on their usage.
Device Use Monitoring. This component lets you limit the amount of time a child can use a device and keeps statistics on the amount of time the device is used.
Location monitoring. Determines the location of your child's mobile devices and allows you to specify agreed areas on a map and the time of their operation.
Call and text monitoring. Collects statistics on calls and text messages sent and received by the child's mobile device (only for mobile devices running the Android operating system).

To configure Kaspersky Safe Kids, you must use the Children section on the My Kaspersky portal. On the portal, you can configure Kaspersky Safe Kids protection on all devices that a child will use, and view alerts and reports about the child's activities on those devices.

To protect your children, you must install Kaspersky Safe Kids on all devices that they use. You can download the installation package for each device from My Kaspersky.
