How to determine the current location of your child's device

Kaspersky Safe Kids lets you determine the current location of the child's mobile device.

You can determine the current location of the child's mobile device only in the premium version of Kaspersky Safe Kids.

To enable the app to track the child's mobile device, make sure that positioning, GPS services, and an Internet connection are enabled on the child's device.

To determine the current location of the child's mobile device:

1. Tap Where is child? on the Kaspersky Safe Kids navigation bar.

   A map opens.

2. Tap Children and select the child's device whose current location you want to determine.

   After the current location of the child's mobile device has been determined, a pin marking the location appears on the map. Kaspersky Safe Kids also sends an alert to your mobile device.

   The GPS module of the mobile device can sometimes work incorrectly and provide outdated information about the child's location. If this happens, it is recommended that you restart the child's device.

3. To refresh information about the current location of the child's mobile device, tap .

Kaspersky Safe Kids uses Apple Maps to determine the current location of the mobile device. More information about tools for using Apple Maps (such as map zoom) is available on the Apple support website.
