Exporting the settings of Kaspersky Security 8 for Linux Mail Server

To save settings if the web interface is available:

  1. Export rules and custom lists to a file.
  2. To avoid losing information about other application settings, take screenshots of the relevant sections of the web interface or paste the values of the settings into a text file.
  3. If necessary, save messages from Backup.

To save settings without the web interface:

  1. To export rules and custom lists, run the following command:

    /opt/kaspersky/klms/bin/klms-control --export-all-settings KLMS_settings.kz

  2. To save information about other settings, run the following command:

    /opt/kaspersky/klms/bin/klms-control --export-settings --file settings.xml

You cannot import the information from the settings.xml file that you get in this way into the new version of the application; all settings must be edited manually.

  3. If necessary, save messages from Backup using the functionality of the klms-control utility.
